If you have found a character please send migration photos to anteism(at)gmail.com

The iMYGRATE PROJECT has in my eyes been a success. We traveled over 14,000km in our $350 van. We copied, cut, glued and laminated 391 characters! We scouted out the safest most favorable, unique location to set them off on their own journey. Now we’ll wait and see if we hear back from our travelers.

The character migrations will not be posted on the website until the project is final. There is one more city (Vancouver) which needs to be populated with characters. So if you don’t see your character in the project, don’t fear they will be arriving in Vancouver shortly. I apologize for the delay in posting this project. It has proven to be a very difficult task and a positive challenge with the huge number of artists / characters involved. I want to thank all the artists for being involved and sharing your characters with Canada.

We are currently compiling all the results from the tour and will be curating an artshow/book. Sorry for the delay…

The IMYGRATE Project is an experiment in public participation. Artists from Canada, USA, Germany, Portugal, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Argentina, Israel, Brazil, Australia, India, Netherlands, Sweden and Italy have created character artworks. They have sent these characters from around the globe to participate in a cross Canada migration. These characters will be posted in public places across Canada. We hope that the public which finds these characters will help to make this migration successful.
